Coronation Street fans convinced Todd Grimshaw will save Peter Barlow with revolting liver transplant twist

WITH Peter Barlow in dire need of a liver transplant, viewers think Todd Grimshaw may have some grisly means to help him.

Promising to have given up the booze once and for all, Peter (Chris Gascoyne) was told he would be going on the list for a liver transplant in Monday night’s episode.

Coronation Street’s Peter Barlow is in dire need of a liver transplant

A devastated Peter broke the news to Carla that doctors were sending him to a new clinic to try and save his life.

Peter told her, “I’m terrified, what if I’m not well enough or they say I don’t deserve a new liver?”

However, fan theories on Twitter suggest the solution to Peter’s problem is Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) – namely thanks to the fact that he works for an undertaker.

One Coronation Street fan tweeted: “Peter needs a liver transplant, Todd works at the undertakers – Todd’s new business venture, illegal organ selling.”

Another fan asked: “Maybe Todd could nick him a liver?”

Will Corrie follow this dark turn? Even though Todd has happily reunited with Billy, is it something he would do?

There is finally some good news for Peter and Carla as they plan to get married “in secret” at the end of the episode.

Viewers saw Carla arrange engraved rings for her wedding with Peter next week after he refused to postpone the wedding and said he cannot wait to make her his wife.

But Corrie spoilers for next week hint at a wedding tragedy for Peter and Carla as they race against time to tie the knot.

As Peter refuses to go to the hospital, it is clear he is struggling to get through his vows.

To make matters worse, there are rumours speculating Carla is having an affair with Lucas.

Will Peter and Carla be able to say “I do” before it’s too late?

Coronation Street continues on Tuesday at 8pm on ITV, following Friday’s rescheduling.
