CORONATION Street fans have spotted ‘proof’ another resident will be jailed for Stephen Reid’s murders.

Fans of the long-running ITV soap have watched as Audrey Robert’s son has wreaked havoc.

Since his arrival he’s murder three people – Teddy and his son Leo before doing away with Rufus.

As viewers await Stephen, played by Todd Boyce, to face justice, they now fear someone else will be framed.

Taking to a web forum, Coronation Street fans have predicated Tim Metcalfe will be accused of the murders.

One fan speculated: “Tim will be accused, imprisoned, profess his innocence, then released after some miracle evidence unearthed by DeeDee in a storyline that will drag on til Christmas.”

A second said: “I could see this bringing Tim into Stephen’s crosshairs again as he works out what Stephen’s done (assuming we’ll have some more police ineptitude that leaves Stephen free despite evidence and witnesses).”

A third simply agreed with other fan theories as they wrote: “Oooooo good spot.”

In scenes to come, Tim appears to have made a breakthrough discovery in a bid to uncover the evil Stephen crimes.

New photos show actor Joe Duttine spotted on set for the ITV soap opera where he can be seen fishing around in the canal where Stephen disposed of his previous victim.

In the new snaps, Tim can be seen attempting to fish something out of the canal with a large stick.

He can then be seen dashing along the canal whilst continuing to hold the stick.

Having spotted something up ahead, the husband of Sally appears to run away.

Could this be how Tim become implicated in Stephen’s crimes? Fans will have to wait and see.
