CORONATION Street favourite Adam Barlow will fight for his life after a brutal attack in the Bistro – but whodunnit?
On Friday’s episode, fans of the ITV soap saw Adam – played by actor Sam Robertson – attacked by a mystery assailaint.
Monday’s episode will see Ray Crosby and Debbie Webster arrive and find Adam in a pool of blood and unconscious on the floor.
Calling an ambulance, Adam is soon rushed to hospital and it is left to Daniel Osbourne to breaks the news to Sarah Platt that Adam’s life is now hanging in the balance.
Adam has lost a lot of blood and may not pull through – but with Sarah one of the confirmed suspects, did she already know?
In recent weeks Adam has enraged four of the residents on the street – Sarah, Peter Barlow, Carla Connor and Gary Windass – and all four have been confirmed as official suspects in the long-planned whodunnit mystery.
Adam was forced to defend himself after his uncle Peter discovered he had slept with Carla.
Meanwhile, Adam’s ex Sarah had also confronted Adam again over sleeping with Carla – even though they were split up.
After their argument – in which Sarah screamed “drop dead Adam!” – he ran into Gary and the pair of them couldn’t resist sniping, with Gary gloating over Adam’s destroyed marriage.
Bu Adam hit back, threatening to call the police and reveal that the year prior Gary had murdered Rick Neelan and buried hs body.
“Maybe I’ll cheer myself up and call the cops and tell them to go to the woods and look for a body. Rick shaped,” he taunted.
