Next week on Corrie, Adam is held at gunpoint in his office alongside Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo).

But the colleagues haven’t been cornered by an unhinged stalker – instead, armed police officers are searching their office, leaving no corner unchecked.

Handcuffed and sat on the floor, the characters are informed by an officer that the police have been called to search for a firearm.

The officer follows up with another revelation.

According to him, a tip-off has claimed that there were “reports of an imminent threat to life.”

The officer urges Adam and Imran to tell the truth about the firearm’s whereabouts but neither are able to say anything.

The characters assure the officer that they know nothing but the search continues.

While he is on the receiving of repeated silent phone calls, Adam is set for more chaos in his marriage as Sarah also becomes a target for the mystery stalker.

The Underworld PA receives a large bouquet of flowers in a vase and is initially pleased.

But when she thanks Adam for the gesture, he is clueless as the flowers never came from him.

Fishing out for the card, Sarah finds a death threat: “Next bouquet will be for your funeral.”

Later on, Sarah realises that whoever left the bouquet could still be in her home… and that she could be trapped inside with them.

But who would want to intimidate the couple so much?

Will the police realise the tip-off was a sham?

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
