Viewers know that Corey’s girlfriend Asha has slowly been working to get him on side while plotting against him after realising he was guilty of Seb’s murder.
Next week, Nina overhears Asha telling Corey that she’d like them to get back together.
When Nina confronts her, Asha is forced to keep up the pretence of believing Corey and defends him, devastating Asha with her apparent betrayal.
Later, Asha tells Nina she’s still her friend and that things aren’t how they look, but will Nina be convinced?
Meanwhile Abi, who initially blamed Nina for Seb’s attack, has a change of heart during a conversation with Roy.
Nina is shocked when Abi dumps the bag of goth dresses in front of her and tells her to go and put one on because Seb would want her at his funeral dressed as the Nina he loved.
Later in the week, Asha spies Abi following Corey and clutching a bottle in her hand.
Asha urges Abi to leave Corey alone, pointing out that Seb wouldn’t want her back in prison, and suggests a different idea.
Later, Abi buys some drugs from a dealer, while Asha convinces Corey that she wants to spend the night with him.
Viewers will see Asha slip the drugs into Corey’s drink, while Abi tells a worried Nina about Asha’s plan to go through his phone.
Asha scrolls through Corey’s messages while he lies unconscious, but disaster strikes when a call from Nina causes him to stir.
It all kicks off as Abi and Nina arrive to check on Asha while Corey staggers around the flat trying to work out what’s going on.
A delirious Corey tries to move past them but loses his balance and falls down the stairs.
Asha looks down at Corey’s lifeless body as the trio are left facing a huge decision over whether to call the police – or leave Corey to face the same fate as his victim Seb.
