Aggie has made the most out of her husband Ed getting electrocuted in Debbie’s hotel.
After her former business partner Ray Crosby cancelled the professional indemnity insurance, which covers the compensation of clients for loss or damage due to negligent services, Debbie has been eager to make up for the damage.
She’s presented Ed and Aggie with a cheque before being told it wasn’t enough.
Since then, she’s been given two weeks to pay the Baileys £30k for compensation – but is struggling to come up with the money.

Next week, she talks to Ed’s brother (and her partner) Ronnie about her struggles to find the cash.
Ronnie suggests she should to themed nights at the Bistro, prompting her to put up posters for “Psychic Night” and “Casino Night.”
But a disapproving Leanne Battersby (portrayed by Jane Danson) watches on.
Later on, as Debbie and Ronnie set up for “Psychic Night”, Leanne worries that they’re conning vulnerable people.
Debbie then admits to Ronnie the extent of her financial woes and reveals she only has two options – bankruptcy or taking on an insurance job.
However, Ronnie remains optimistic, assure her it won’t ever come to that.
During “Psychic Night”, Debbie feels inspired when she hears Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) tell the psychic that he has debt coming out of his ears.
Debbie comes up with a plan – but how will it work out?
As mentioned above, Debbie is suffering the consequences of Ray Crosby’s underhanded actions.
After trying to take over Weatherfield, the shady businessman was sent to prison when it was revealed he had sexually assaulted Faye Windass.
Debbie first worked hand in hand with him until she came to her senses and turned her back on him.
Since 2021, she is the co-owner of the Viaduct Bistro alongside Leanne Battersby and Nick Tilsley.
Will she find a way out of her predicament?
