OVER the moon about her budding romance with Jon, Emma Brooker has been keeping her joy secret.
But her secret could be exposed to Faye Windass and Craig Tinker next week in Coronation Street.
After being incarcerated for several months, Faye (portrayed by Ellie Leach) was released in 2021 but is still walking on eggshells.
She has been adamant on getting her life back on track, avoiding any more time behind bars.
However, the youngster wasn’t expecting to be involved in a car accident alongside Emma (Alexandra Mardell), which led to the death of frail pensioner Ted (Duggie Brown).
Since then, both characters desperately try to keep their secret under wraps.

Despite this, Emma has connected with Ted’s grandson Jon Spear (Jordan Ford Silver) behind Faye’s back but the truth will soon be revealed.
With Faye struggling with her allergy to Peanut, Craig (Colson Smith) asks Emma if she could walk the dog.
Believing she is safe from any repercussions, Emma agrees and sets off on a dog walk with Jon.
Unfortunately for her, Craig’s mother Beth bumps into the couple and introduces herself to Jon, much to Emma’s horror.
Beth later tells her son she met Emma’s old school friend and a suspicious Craig decides to confront her, fully convinced she is secretly meeting Jon.
Emma denies everything… but continues to keep Jon a secret.
Craig is being very careful, firstly due to Faye confessing her involvement in Ted’s death but also because he’s aiming to return to the police.
He had previously quit his police constable position in a bid to protect both Faye and Emma from any legal repercussions.
Unhappy and feeling resentful towards Faye – which has led the pair to grow apart – Craig finally decided to make a move out of the Underworld factory and return to doing what he enjoys.
Craig is, therefore, afraid that Emma’s connection with Jon could jeopardise his return to the force.
But as the time goes by and Emma’s secret could be unravelled, Jon has some important news for her.
Inheriting a whopping amount of money from Ted, he is thinking of using the money to fund himself a new life in Australia.
Could this be a relief to Craig and Faye?
