DETERMINED to track down her former husband Rick, Laura Neelan makes a drastic decision.
But Gary Windass panics as he’s keeping a huge secret from her in Coronation Street.
As she battles terminal cancer, Laura (played by Kel Allen) does everything she can to mend her broken relationship with her daughter Kelly (Millie Gibson).
The latter is taking care of her unbeknownst to Gary (Mikey North) and his wife Maria (Samia Longchambon).
And while Kelly keeps everything under wraps, one of Gary’s secrets could soon come to light.

In upcoming scenes of the ITV soap, Laura tells Gary she intends to hire a PI to track down Rick.
Determined for her daughter to live the life she deserves, Laura want to take action so she can get her hands on his money for Kelly.
She is also set on finding out what happened to her former husband before she dies.
Gary panics and, in a bid to scupper her plan, he tells Laura that he’ll find a private investigator himself.
Later on, Gary meets up with Lenny but explains he wants him to pretend to track down Rick but make no progress whatsoever.
Pretending he is sticking to his word, Gary meets with the PI again alongside Laura and the latter explains her intentions.
Laura also mentions that Gary was the last person to see Rick alive.
Gary is shaken, fearing he may be exposed as the PI quizzes him over his relationship with Rick.
Although Laura is unaware of Gary’s reasons to stop her from tracking the loan shark down, ITV viewers know very well why he would want Rick to stay hidden.
Portrayed by Greg Wood, Rick made his first appearance in the cobbles in 2009 when a debt-ridden Joe McIntyre borrowed money from him.
After kidnapping Rita on the day of her wedding to Denis Tanner, Rick was arrested and thrown behind bars but was released in 2019 asking for Gary to settle a debt.
Both men confronted one another on multiple occasions… until Gary eventually killed Rick after another fight in the woods.
Gary later moved the body as Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) once tried to turn him in to the police.
Maria is the only other Corrie resident to know the truth.
Spoilers have seemingly confirmed that Rick’s body could be found as Laura begins to dig around Rick’s potential whereabouts.
But how far is Gary willing to go to avoid justice for his crime?
How will Laura react is she ever finds out Rick has been killed?
