KELLY Neelan is awash with guilt in an upcoming episode of Coronation Street.
Following an unfortunate accident, the teen is shocked by an outburst from Maria Connor (played by Samia Longchambon).
Living as a guest in Victoria Court, Kelly (Millie Gibson) is slowly recovering from a long period of self-loathing caused by her involvement in Seb Franklin’s death.
But in future instalments of the ITV soap, the youngster will feel that she has overstayed her welcome.
When she finds Liam (Charlie Wrenshall) struggle with his French homework, Kelly decides to help him with a game.
Kelly picks up his football and teaches him to count in French.

However, Kelly’s plan goes south as both characters accidentally knock over a bottle of water, soaking Maria’s portfolio.
When she returns home, Maria is greeted by her ruined work and Liam takes the blame.
Later on, as she’s still fretting over the mishap, Kelly overhears Maria moan to husband Gary Windass (Mikey North) about the ruined portfolio.
Maria mentions in passing that she’s at the end of her tether.
Kelly skulks away, believing Maria’s frustration is directed at her.
Little does she know that Maria is actually speaking of her political rival Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor).
Maria and Sally have been clashing amid a local election battle.
Both characters have been bickering for several weeks and Sally recently learned that developers refused to back her campaign following an incriminating article featured in the Weatherfield Gazette.
Her stepdaughter Faye (Ellie Leach) subsequently wondered whether another candidate could be trying to sabotage her political ambitions.
Sally had no doubt in her mind about Maria’s involvement and decide to get revenge.
Hellbent on payback, Sally sent a picture of Maria with her 4×4, discrediting her clean air campaign.
But Sally was then rocked by Maria’s reaction as she revealed that it was actually Councillor Cameron who gave the Gazette the compromising picture of her.
Sally is taken aback as the truth is revealed and vows to focus on her husband Tim’s health.
