KEN Barlow hasn’t mingled with former lover Wendy Crozier in a decade.
But the pair have been reunited and will be sharing an evening next week in Coronation Street.

As Abi Franklin did everything to prove she could be a good mother for her son Alfie, she received the help of a familiar face in the cobbles.
Social worker Wendy Crozier (portrayed by Roberta Kerr) made her return to Weatherfield in recent scenes of the Manchester-based soap.
This meant she got the chance to run into her former lover, Ken Barlow (William Roache) whom she hadn’t seen in ten years, since her last appearance.
Although their reunion was anything but warm and friendly, mostly due to Tracy Barlow’s vendetta against her, Ken and Wendy are set for an intimate moment in upcoming scenes of the show.

Next week, Ken approaches her and invites her for a coffee.
In later scenes at No.1, he then invites her to share his lasagne.
The pair open up to one another and Ken tells Wendy he knows what it’s like to be lonely as he still misses his late wife Deirdre – whom he cheated on Wendy, several decades ago.
This may come as a surprise to some viewers as Ken stated he no longer wanted any form of contact with Wendy, not even to build a friendship.
In 2012, when Wendy came back after having lost her husband Christos Papadopoulos, she had tried to rekindle her affair with Ken and Deirdre found out.
Understandably, this wreaked havoc within their family and Ken couldn’t stand it.
Wendy left the cobbles believing she had ruined the connection she once had with Ken.
But three years later, Deirdre passed away and Ken has remained alone ever since – which could have led him to change his perspective.
Abi Franklin was the one to push Wendy to reach out to Ken after finding out about their past connection.
But was she right to do so?
Could Ken and Wendy rekindle their affair?
Most importantly, what will Tracy do when she finds out they’ve been getting close again?
