DEBBIE Webster has been tiptoeing a dangerous line as she edges closer to bankruptcy.
Next week in Coronation Street, Ronnie Bailey takes desperate action to help her.
Ronnie Bailey has watched Debbie Webster struggle with money for months
She has to make sacrifices to avoid bankruptcy
But her efforts aren’t enough and Ronnie decides to take action
After staging a robbery in her own restaurant with the help of Ryan Connor, in the hopes of scamming her insurance, Debbie is willing to make all sorts of sacrifices to put an end to her money woes.
Coming up, the businesswoman played by Sue Devaney is ready to give up on several of her ventures.
But she soon tells Ronnie (portrayed by Vinta Morgan) that probably won’t be enough as she’s only had two offers on her hotels.
Ronnie suggests to Debbie that she should sell her share of the Bistro and she follows his advice.

In later scenes, Debbie tells business partner Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) that she’s selling her share of their restaurant and gives him a week to make her an offer.
Unfortunately, Nick and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) are just as short on money as she is and can only make her a poxy offer, doubtful she’ll even accept it.
But desperate times will be calling for desperate measures – Debbie admits to Ronnie she’s tempted to accept the offer as it’s the only thing standing between her and bankruptcy.
Ronnie has had enough and decides to make a phone call on her behalf, leaving Debbie intrigued.
He asks a broker friend to hunt for a fair offer for Debbie’s half of the Bistro.
But Ronnie’s plan may fall through – Debbie later informs Nick that Ronnie’s broker reckons selling half of a business is tricky.
She encourages both him and Leanne to consider selling their share too.
But will they go through with it?
As mentioned above, Debbie embarked on a plan to get her hands on some cash with Ryan Connor, who was struggling just as much as she was with his own finances.
However, their plan quickly went south and Ryan was caught red-handed.
To make matters worse, Debbie left him to take the blame alone.
The botched robbery even left her worse for wear financially.
