The past is coming back to haunt Fiz (played by Jennie McAlpine) next week on ITV.
But while her past with serial killer John Stape will be exposed to all in an explosive book, the Underworld machinist is determined to protect her eleven-year-old daughter (Isabella Flanagan).
Coming up, Fiz and solicitor Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) meet up with the publisher and she implores her to remove Hope’s name from the book.
However, Fiz’s partner Tyrone (Alan Halsall) takes things to a brutal level.

ICONIC

In the garage, Tyrone finds a leaflet advertising a Q&A session about the John Stape book.
He later enters the hotel room as the Q&A is in full swing but when the journalist suggests that Fiz was complicit in her late husband’s crimes, Tyrone is unable to contain his anger.
In a blind rage, he climbs on the stage and slaps the journalist round the face – triggering a series of troubling consequences for him.
The hotel manager calls the police and Fiz soon gets wind of Tyrone’s arrest.
When she finds out what her other half has done, she begs the journalist not to press charges against Tyrone.
Eventually, Tyrone is released without charge as Fiz managed to talk the journalist round.
However, she’s not happy with her partner’s attitude and the pair have a blazing row.
After a video of Tyrone attacking the journalist is released and goes viral, it’s revealed the book launch is brought forward to the end of the week.
In later scenes, Adam asserts a libel barrister has accepted to take on the case but without any guarantee they will win.
To make matters worse, their costs alone will be £100k.
Knowing they won’t be able to do anything else, Fiz and Tyrone break the news to Hope that the book will be published despite their best efforts to stop it.
A fuming Hope rails at the both of them for failing to protect her.
Tyrone isn’t out of the woods – he’s soon arrested on suspicion of assault following a number of complaints about the video.
Hope later says she would rather stay at No.5 with her uncle Chesney Brown.
