CORONATION Street viewers were left distracted by a glaring blunder made by Gary Windass as he hunted for Kelly Neelan’s kidnapper last night.
The teen (Millie Gibson) has been abducted by her late dad Rick Neelan’s old business partner and the debt collector (Mikey North) is trying his best to get her back.

The gangster has asked for £50,000 to set Kelly free
Kelly has been busy trying to make it up to those who her father hurt in the past, but has come across a man who wants her dead.
Gary – who killed Kelly’s dad Rick back in 2019 – and wife Maria Connor had been worrying about Kelly, until he received a text message from her.
Kelly cleverly let them know that something was wrong by asking the couple to tell her mum that she is okay.
Kelly’s mum died back in April this year.

A worried Gary dropped his phone and left it in the flat to go and look for Kelly.
But fans of the ITV soap pointed out that the debt collector shouldn’t have left his mobile phone at home because it could have helped him find Kelly.
One wrote on Twitter: “oh #Corrie as if she doesn’t have find my phone or life360 so they know exactly where she is.”
A second said: “Find My Phone #Gary, use FIND MY PHONE!?!”
Another pointed out: “Get Kelly’s phone location – easy enough. Two calls and a text message from her phone. Find my phone (or whatever)!”
A fourth added: “With Kelly missing and possibly in danger, Gary leaves his phone unattended. Just bad writing.”
In the cellar the gangster revealed how he knew her dad.
“I was his business partner,” he told Kelly.
“Until he screwed me over. I lost everything because of him, and now you’re going to pay me back.”
He demanded £50,000 for her freedom – or he would kill her.
And later the man phoned Gary himself to threaten him.
He told Gary: “We both know there’s money stashed away, and I want £50k of it tomorrow.
“And if you want to see Kelly Neelan again – no police.”
Kelly was left terrified after hearing the man’s threats – and Gary and Maria panicked.
