CORONATION Street’s Alan Halsall revealed his daughter Sienna gives away who he is whenever he’s trying to keep a low profile.
The Tyrone Dobbs actor, 38, may be one of the most recognisable faces in soap land, but his daughter doesn’t help.
Alan said his seven-year-old – who he shares with ex Lucy-Jo Hudson – likes to shout out whenever he’s on the cover of a magazine.
The star told the Mirror: “She likes to shout it out dead loud when I’m on the cover of a magazine in the Co-Op.
“We’ll be walking round and she’ll go, ‘Look Daddy, there you are!’ and I’ll be like, ‘Keep it down darling, keep it down!’
“She doesn’t find it weird, she’s grown up with it, so she’s used to it.
“She sees me on telly, she sees her mum on telly and she’s seen Tisha on telly. She’s fine with it and it doesn’t seem to bother her a great deal, which is great. It’s just normal to her.”
Alan lives in Manchester with his girlfriend and ex Corrie star Tisha Merry.
Lucy and Alan split in May 2018 after nine years of marriage together – but now successfully have a ‘blended’ family, as Lucy-Jo has another child with boyfriend Lewis Devine.
Speaking about their set up in 2020, Alan told OK! Magazine: “There’s always going to be ups and downs with a blended family.
“So long as Sienna comes first in all of it, that’s all that matters. Sienna’s got her mum and dad, and she’s also got Lewis and Tisha. It’s just a case that everybody loves her.
“Of course there will be differences of opinion; so long as we’re in that loving way when Sienna is around.
“We don’t have a great deal of communication, it’s only ever about Sienna and that’s all it ever needs to be.”
