CORONATION Street’s Charlie Condou left the Top Gun premiere afterparty with A-list Hollywood star Jennifer Connolly.
Jennifer’s husband Paul met Charlie, 49, who played Marcus Dent on the ITV programme – on the set of Dead Babies, and they became best friends ever-since.
Charlie and Jennifer’s husband Paul Bettany are godfather to each other’s children and both families spend every second Christmas together.
So when Jennifer, 51, was in town, Charlie made sure he was the perfect date to take her to the star-studded premiere of the year.
The dapper duo looked partied out as they got into a taxi after the glam Top Gun event.
Jennifer looked sensational in a cream maxi dress with black embellishments as she posed alongside main man Tom Cruise.

Charlie looked smart in a black suit with a sleek skinny black tie.
Charlie and Jen’s husband Paul have maintained their strong friendship over the years despite living on different continents.
Despite his friendship with Condou, US based British actor Paul told the Independent in 2013 that he doesn’t watch Coronation Street and never did, even when he lived in the UK.
He said: “Apart from my marriage, I’m a commitment-phobe.
“I don’t want to start watching something on TV if I have to keep watching it!’ “
Paul shares 18-year-old son Stellan and 10-year-old daughter Agnes with wife Jennifer Connelly, 51, as well as stepson Kai, 24.

Charlie has two children with his partner Cameron Laux.
