THE Flanagan sisters have become known for their respective spots in soap land.
Coronation Street star Isabella Flanagan posed with her older sister, Amelia, as their father announced a major turn in their careers.

While eleven-year-old Isabella is known for her portrayal of volatile Hope Stape, Amelia Flanagan has been playing the part of April Windsor since 2014 in Emmerdale.
To top it off, Isabella’s twin brother William plays Joseph Brown in Coronation Street, who happens to be Hope Stape’s cousin.
But in a recent snap shared on Instagram by their father Chris, both sisters were almost mistaken for the same person as they posed side by side.
Isabella can be seen enjoying a bowl of fruit while a bespectacled Amelia is sat next to her, with an arm around her younger sister.

Chris Flanagan took the time to proudly share some news about his daughters’ careers writing: “Really chuffed that the girls and so many of their friends and on screen family are on the long list for the @InsideSoapMag awards.”
“Whether you’re team Corrie or Emmerdale you can cast your votes now!”
Lydia Dingle actress Karen Blick responded to Chris’ post, congratulating both Isabella and Amelia.
“Yes I saw! Well done both, you must so proud!”, she wrote.
One soap fan praised the sisters and has clearly made his choice.
“Wow, so much talent in one family. I’m giving Bella my vote this time, she plays that part a bit too well…..!! Amelia has had my vote before. Good luck girls!”
As stated by their father, Isabella and Amelia are up for the Best Young Performer award at the upcoming Inside Soap Awards.
Isabella is up against Jude Riordan aka Sam Blakeman in the cobbles as well as Tommy Moon actor and young EastEnders star Sonny Kendall.
Voting opened on Tuesday (July 19) at midday and will close on September 9.
Winners will be revealed during a special ceremony in October, 2022, after two years of virtual ceremonies.
The show will be also be celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Main soaps in the likes of Coronation Street, Emmerdale, EastEnders and Hollyoaks received the majority of nominations.
Along with their favourite actors, soap fans will be able to choose the most hard-hitting storyline of them all.
These include Ben Mitchell’s rape, Jean Slater’s bipolar disorder, Abi Webster’s fight for Alfie and John Paul’s alcoholism in Hollyoaks.
