TYRONE Dobbs decided to organise a surprise Christmas wedding for his bride-to-be Fiz Stape.
Off-screen, Coronation Street stars Jennie McAlpine and Alan Halsall are going head to head in an explosive Christmas quiz.

They will be going over the key moments of their on-screen romance
The soap favourites will have a seat with their co-star Colson Smith aka Craig Tinker in the cobbles.
They will be taking part in an exclusive interview on the soap’s YouTube channel titled Catch Up With Colson, available from 5pm today (Monday, December 19).
Both stars will be taking a look back at the last two decades, going over the key moments of their on-screen romance from their first kiss to their dramatic fights.
But Jennie and Alan won’t just be talking about their characters’ upcoming Christmas wedding plans on the box.
And while they may be head over heels in love with one another on the box, Colson will challenge them to a Brown vs Dobbs Christmas quiz to put their knowledge of their history to the test.
“It is lovely to watch some of the early scenes, it is such a long time ago and you forget things that you filmed together”, said Jennie.
“It is very funny looking back on some of the hair and fashion choices!”
Alan added: “I was nervous about doing the quiz as Jennie is a quiz fiend and knows so much about the show.”
“You will have to watch to see who comes out on top.”
40-year-old Alan has been a part of the Corrie line-up since 1998 while Jennie took on her own role in Weatherfield in 2001 after a short stint in Emmerdale.
While they have been on and off for several years, the on-screen couple has stood the test of time and will be seen tying the knot in upcoming scenes.
As mentioned above, the mechanic is planning a surprise Christmas wedding after asking for Fiz’s hand in marriage a third time.
But when they’re not on the MediaCity set, Jennie and Alan spend their time with their respective partners.
Alan has been romantically involved with former co-star Tisha Merry since 2019.
Meanwhile, Jennie walked down the aisle with Chris Farr in 2017.
