Coronation Street actress Julia Goulding, known for her role as Shona Platt, has opened up about her feelings of anger and devastation as two of her co-stars bid farewell to the soap opera.
Julia, who has been portraying Shona Platt on the popular ITV show since 2016, expressed her deep sadness over the departure of two particular co-stars as they prepare to leave Weatherfield.

Speaking to the press, Julia revealed her feelings of devastation regarding the exit of on-screen stepson Paddy Bever, played by Max Turner for four years. She expressed her love for Paddy and the bond they shared on set, emphasizing her hope for his return in the future.
Emotional Goodbyes
In addition to Paddy's departure, Julia also shared her sorrow over Charlotte Jordan's upcoming exit from her role as Rovers barmaid Daisy Midgeley, a character she has portrayed since 2020. Julia expressed her anger and sadness over losing her friends on set, including Charlotte.

Other Coronation Street stars set to leave include Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw), Sue Devaney (Debbie Webster), Colson Smith (Craig Tinker), and Shelley King (Yasmeen Nazir), who has already filmed her final scenes.
