FORMER homeless man Stu Carpenter has been back on the straight and narrow for several months.
But in a new Coronation Street storyline, Kelly Neelan finds him unconscious in the cobbles.
Things have been looking up for friendly Corrie resident Stu Carpenter (played by Bill Fellows).
After months of living in the rough, the chef bounced back from his time on the streets – where he was pushed to by the Covid pandemic – and started afresh in Weatherfield.
Stu managed to get himself a job in the Speed Daal kitchen.
He has even formed a bond with restaurant owner Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King).

However, in a surprising turn of events and as teased by new snaps, Stu goes missing in an upcoming soap storyline.
This prompts wayward teen Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) to search for him in the streets, where she spent time herself before being taken in by Gary Windass and Maria Connor.
Worried and while on the lookout for Stu, Kelly searches the back streets with the help of Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain).
But the pair are shocked by what they find.
Stu is found lying unconscious behind the waste bins with empty drink containers next to him.
It seemingly becomes clear that Stu needs help and an ambulance is called.
Stu is rushed to hospital as his friend Kelly decides to sit with him in the emergency vehicle for support.
