TINA O’Brien has revealed she has received some ‘awful’ comments over Sarah Platt’s latest cobbles scandal as she embarks on a steamy affair.
ITV fans have seen Sarah struggle to shake off the temptation of Damon Hay, played by Ciaran Griffiths, and his irresistible charm.

However, actress Tina has expressed her disappointment at getting “awful” troll comments over the story.
The story is set to come to an explosive head next week when Sarah is forced to own up to her cheating ways when her young son Harry catches her in the middle of a saucy tryst with Damon.
It leads to her confessing all to her husband Adam about her affair.
Speaking about the story, Tina said: “It’s important to show that, yes, Sarah is usually very well-behaved, yes she is happy, but this man has just got under her skin.”
The soap star added: “We’re seeing her make bad decisions that aren’t necessarily the best for her, but she’s still making them.
“There’s not much of a moral reason for her behaviour.
“She claims Adam’s been a bit missing in action at one point and he’s been too busy with work, but it’s more of an excuse for the way she’s acted, so I can’t imagine it’s going to go down very well.”
Tina added that Sarah is enjoying being the centre of attention in a man’s world again and is enjoying being chased and the lure of something ‘dangerous’.
She added: “Damon suddenly appeared and made her feel excited, and wanted and desired.
“The fact that he’s chased her so hard has made her feel attractive again.
“She knows she shouldn’t be doing this but it’s really exciting.”
