CORONATION Street actor Colson Smith showed off his impressive weight loss as he enjoyed a stroll around London yesterday.
The 22-year-old – who is currently taking a break from playing Craig Tinker on the ITV soap – looks almost unrecognisable these days after shedding the pounds through exercise and healthy eating.
Colson has been enjoying a few days in the capital, but has kept up with his fitness routine while there and has even hit the gym.
He previously revealed he was taking a break from the soap to help his sister Hannah, who is a vet, during lambing season on her farm.
Speaking about his plans, he said: “April is lambing season and I’ve got the call up – I’m in for lambing season.
“I’m off work for the whole of April, so I’m going to be there lambing. It’s going to be great.
“It’s been full-on. I finished work and I got a call saying, “you need to come and help out, we need some help on the farm”.
“I’m a top farmer. I can drive the tractor, I’m good at that kind of stuff.”
Colson started hitting the gym regularly to make sure he was in shape for his role as a policeman on the popular ITV soap after he realised he was getting out of breath chasing shoplifters while playing the copper
He unveiled his epic weight loss for the first time last year as he returned to our screens for the first time since lockdown.
Before returning back to set and despite being proud of his achievements, Colson joked that he’d have to wear a fat suit at work.
He joked: “We are in direct continuity, but I’ve almost lost about ten stone since we left work so I’m not sure that [my hair] is going to be the biggest of their issues.
“I might be wearing a wig and a fat suit when we go back. Now we go to a purple shampoo, which almost makes it a platinum sort of colour, which basically takes the ginger pigment out.
“So the yellow-ness will go, and I will have a head of blonde hair, which I technically do now.”
