COUNTDOWN’S Rachel Riley has revealed she’s given birth to a baby girl called Noa.
Referring to her Strictly Come Dancing husband, the 35-year-old star introduced the child as “Pacha’s newest dance partner”.
The star posted on Instagram: “We have some news…!
“Introducing Pasha’s newest dance partner – baby Noa was finally born, 15 days after her due date, late on Friday night to the sound of fireworks!
“She’s totally adorable and her big sister Maven has already tried welcoming her to the world by offering Oatly and pickles, we think that’s a good sign.
“Massive thanks to the wonderful home birth midwives team and my doula who looked after us all so well.”
She added: “Ps thanks too to my namesake @rachelrileyuk for the lovely rainbow baby clothes for our gorgeous rainbow baby. Our family feels complete now she’s here.
.”
She also posted a cute picture of their 18-month-old daughter Maven cradling the family’s new arrival
Rachel stepped down from Countdown last month to start her maternity leave – but the baby kept her waiting for more than two weeks.
To announce the tot back in April, Rachel and Pasha, 41, put a Countdown themed post on her Instagram account – using an anagram that spelt fertility.
The Celeb Report revealed this month how the maths whizz and the Channel 4 show’s host Anne Robinson have been at loggerheads.
Rachel is said to irritate the new presenter, 77, because she is noisy while bantering with contestants on-set.
A TV insider said: “It’s safe to say there’s no love lost.”
The unprecedented move left a fuming Rachel to announce to the whole crew that she “completely disagreed” with being silenced.
Anne has also been irritated at Rachel sometimes “turning up at the last minute” and “being on her phone” before filming at Media City in Salford.
It comes after reports of a “young versus old” divide between Anne and Rachel, 35, and Dictionary Corner’s Susie Dent, 56.
