COUNTDOWN star Rachel Riley has jokingly likened her newborn daughter to Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The TV star took to Twitter last night to share an adorable new snap with her little girl Noa and quipped that the four-day-old looked like the former football player, who was known as the “baby-faced assassin”.
In the snap, Rachel beamed as she held on tightly to her new daughter while clad in a pink jumper that featured the word “love” three times in red.
Baby Noa looked equally adorable in a rainbow-print onesie as she cuddled into her mum.
Writing alongside the shot, Rachel couldn’t help but cheekily suggest that her little one had an uncanny resemblance to the 48-year-old Man Utd boss.
The maths whizz penned: “PS Is it just me or does she look a bit like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer here?
“Guess they didn’t call him the baby-faced assassin for nothing” alongside several laughing emojis.
After sharing the snap, several followers commented on the baby’s likeness to the Norwegian football manager.
One even penned: “@RachelRileyRR congrats on your wee bundle of joy..think your observation of Ole is not misplaced..let’s hope he brings us some joy”.
Ole earned the nickname back in the late 90s because of of his killer instinct for goals despite his youthful face.
Yesterday, Rachel revealed she had given birth to a baby girl called Noa.
Referring to her Strictly Come Dancing husband, the 35-year-old star introduced the child as “Pasha’s newest dance partner”.
The star posted on Instagram: “We have some news…!
“Introducing Pasha’s newest dance partner – baby Noa was finally born, 15 days after her due date, late on Friday night to the sound of fireworks!
“She’s totally adorable and her big sister Maven has already tried welcoming her to the world by offering Oatly and pickles, we think that’s a good sign.
“Massive thanks to the wonderful home birth midwives team and my doula who looked after us all so well.”
She added, tagging in a kids’ clothing brand: “Ps thanks too to my namesake @rachelrileyuk for the lovely rainbow baby clothes for our gorgeous rainbow baby.
“Our family feels complete now she’s here.
.”
She also posted a cute picture of their 18-month-old daughter Maven cradling the family’s new arrival while sticking her tongue out.
Rachel stepped down from Countdown last month to start her maternity leave – but the baby kept her waiting for more than two weeks.
To announce the tot back in April, Rachel and Pasha, 41, put a Countdown themed post on her Instagram account – using an anagram that spelt fertility.
The Celeb Report revealed this month how the maths whizz and the Channel 4 show’s host Anne Robinson have been at loggerheads.
Rachel is said to irritate the new presenter, 77, because she is noisy while bantering with contestants on-set.
A TV insider said: “It’s safe to say there’s no love lost.”
The unprecedented move left a fuming Rachel to announce to the whole crew that she “completely disagreed” with being silenced.

Anne has also been irritated at Rachel sometimes “turning up at the last minute” and “being on her phone” before filming at Media City in Salford.
It comes after reports of a “young versus old” divide between Anne and Rachel, 35, and Dictionary Corner’s Susie Dent, 56.
The maths star has even hinted she plans to breastfeed the new arrival at the studio when she returns from maternity leave.
