Countryfile’s Julia Bradbury poses in a crop top and reveals her weight as she hits back at skinny-shaming trolls

COUNTRYFILE star Julia Bradbury has hit back at skinny-shaming trolls by revealing her weight.

The 50-year-old posed in a crop top to tell her abusers what her height and weight is to prove she has a healthy BMI.

Julia Bradbury revealed her rock hard arms

It’s after she was viciously attacked online for being “too skinny” when she posted a bikini snap.

Julia wrote on Instagram: “For those of you genuinely concerned: I’m 5ft 9 inches tall (1.75mtrs) & weigh 9 stone 6 lbs.

“According to the NHS BMI indicator my BMI measurement is 19.5.

“The healthy weight range for my height is between 8st 13lb and 12st 1lb.

“So I’m a healthy weight and ‘I should keep up the good work!’ according to the website.

“For those of you just trolling: How do you rate?”

She then posted a link for the NHS’s BMI calculator.

The presenter’s smiley snap of her sunbathing showed her collarbone exposed – and trolls attacked her weight.

She was bombarded with abusive messages from trolls saying she “needs to eat” and that she looks like a cancer patient.

Speaking about the trolling on ITV’s Lorraine, Julia said: “Here’s the problem – I’ve got skinny collar bones. I can’t do anything about that.

“They can say ‘she needs a bag of chips’, but I don’t think chips or a dirty burger does straight to your collar bone.

“It’s a huge problem though, because I’m fairly confident and can handle it.

“But there are a lot of people out there with mental health issues, with body shaming issues and the fact is that sometimes there’s one comment that can just get someone in the wrong way.

“They weren’t kind comments and that’s what social media can bring on, people saying ‘you’re not well, you look like you’re having chemotherapy’.

“That just isn’t constructive criticism, it’s just being nasty.”

Julia earlier told how she wants there to be repercussions for those who send abuse online.

She is continuing to challenge those sending her abuse – and stop skinny-shaming.
