HAS Damon Hay decided to leave his life of crime behind weeks after his shock arrest?
The Coronation Street thug has a surprising plan for the Bistro in scenes due to air next week.
Damon Hay returned to the cobbles after his arrest
Could he leave his life of crime behind?
He has a huge suggestion for Nick and Leanne
Damon (portrayed by Ciarán Griffiths) was bad news as soon as he rocked up the cobbles and began to organise drug dealings in and out of the Weatherfield restaurant.
Everything came to a halt when Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) turned on him and he was arrested.
However, Damon lets Nick and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) know that he’s ready to get his life back on track – or so it seems.
Coming up on ITV, Damon tells Leanne of his plan to turn the Bistro into a late night music venue to attract local students.
He then adds that he’s happy to work the late nights as it’s an opportunity to make a ton of money.
Despite their initial reservations, Nick and Leanne both agree to apply for a late licence.
Will Damon’s suggestion be favourable for business at the Bistro?
This remains to be seen but Damon isn’t fully done with crime.
When Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) grows increasingly desperate for money, he begins to look for more work and calls Damon.
The criminal instructs him to steal a car and call the number he gave him.
And while he may leave business on the backburner, Damon is due to wreak havoc for one couple in the cobbles.
Adam Barlow and Sarah Platt (respectively portrayed by Sam Robertson and Tina O’Brien) have had several disagreements in recent months, particularly on the topic of children.
The Underworld PA made it clear she’d like to focus on her career but this hasn’t stopped her from feeling attracted to Damon.
Sarah tries her best to fight off her feelings but with her car blocked in next week, Adam working and unavailable, she has no choice but to turn to Damon when he offers her a lift to the hotel for her meeting.
Much to her annoyance, Damon sits at a nearby table and saunters over pretending to be a music mogul impressed by the designs when Lulu, the buyer, makes disparaging remarks about them.
Damon hands Sarah his card with his room number written on the back while Lulu looks at the designs in a new light.
However, Sarah is angry with Damon and heads to his room to tear a strip off him for interfering.
But instead of taking her seriously, Damon is amused and gives her a glass of champagne.
Once finished, Sarah throws caution to the wind and kisses Damon passionately.
