TOWIE star Dan Edgar made a blistering remark aimed at his ex, Amber Turner, during the show as he went to pick up his belongings from her house. The reality TV couple ended their six-year relationship in May, and their split has been a major storyline on the latest season of Towie.
The House Key Mystery
During a conversation with co-stars Diags and Roman on Sunday night's episode, Dan talked about whether he had spoken to Amber since their breakup. He explained that they had discussed matters concerning the house and their dog, but he had not yet returned the house keys. Diags playfully questioned why he hadn't given back the keys, joking that he may want to "keep the keys to her heart." Dan swiftly responded that it was because he still needed to retrieve some of his things from the house.
The Swipe Back
Responding to Diags' insinuations, Dan fired back, denying any ulterior motive for holding onto the keys. He asked, "Do you think I'm holding onto that key because I want to go back to that house and be around her?" It was a clear swipe at his ex, indicating that he has no intention of returning to their shared home.
Amber's Misery on Towie
Meanwhile, Amber revealed in an interview with The Celeb Report that she often feels miserable while filming Towie. The blonde beauty, who is now part of the new Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins lineup, questioned her continued involvement in the Essex-based TV show. She admitted that she doesn't watch herself on Towie and that most of her time on the show is not enjoyable. She even claimed that participating in SAS was more enjoyable than being on Towie. However, she also expressed that Towie gives her a sense of purpose and stability in her life, especially during her breakup. It gets her out of the house and helps her avoid slipping into a dark place.
