FANS are eagerly awaiting the return of Dancing On Ice.
The names of the celebs competing in the next series of the skating show are slowly being revealed.
Who has been confirmed to appear in Dancing On Ice 2021?
Rufus Hound
Rufus Hound is the latest contestant to be confirmed for the series.
He jested on Martin and Roman’s Sunday Best: “I’m doing it for the money. I don’t know if you’ve heard but about six months ago this global pandemic hit and made just about everything I’ve ever done to earn a pound note disappear!
“And so this point has arrived and they said, ‘We’ll pay you,’ and I said, ‘Do you know something? I love ice skating!”
Billie Shepherd
Billie Shepherd is known for starring in The Only Way Is Essex.
She said: “My kids are going to be so excited.
“Hopefully I’ll be good and they’ll be loving it and not embarrassed!”
Graham Bell
Graham is best known for his time as an Olympic skier and he is also a TV presenter and journalist.
Across his career, he has presented a number of BBC shows including Ski Sunday and High Altitude and he set a Guinness World Record in 2017 for the fastest towed speed on skis.
The news of his involvement in the competition was revealed on BBC Breakfast.
Graham said it was not the ice he was afraid of, it was the element of dance, saying the extent of his dancing experience was “dancing on tables”.
Colin Jackson
Colin CBE is a former Olympic silver medallist and TV pundit.
He represented Great Britain and Wales as a sprint and hurdling athlete, for which he won medals, including an Olympic silver and two World Championship golds.
Talking about joining DOI he told the BBC: “I can do a little bit of skating. With sport, you’ve certainly got a bit of balance and that will be transferable in this circumstance.
“But how much dancing we’ll do, who knows? We’ll see how the choreography goes.”
Lady Leshurr
Lady Leshurr has confirmed she is joining the ice dance competition after The Celeb Report exclusively she had signed up.
She confirmed the news on Kiss Breakfast with 2020 runner up Perri Kiely and Jordan Banjo saying she is “petrified”.
She said: “Oh my gosh I don’t what I’ve got myself in for but everyone knows me to be that person to just throw myself in at the deep end and I just wing it a lot of the time.”
She added: “I’m looking forward to having a new skill, (skating) backwards and just showing off in front of my friends.”
Lady Leshurr, real name Melesha Katrina O’Garro, is a 31-year-old grime and hip hop rapper, singer, and producer.
She is best known for her Queen’s Speech series of freestyles, and has also performed with Nicki Minaj on tour.
Myleene Klass
Myleene Klass was the first star to sign up for the upcoming Dancing On Ice series.
Myleene announced the news, saying: “Guess who won’t be holding the coats at the side of the rink anymore! I am so, SO excited to be joining the cast of @dancingonice.
“My girls have always wanted me to do this but I’ve always been too scared someone will skate over my fingers!”
Myleene is no stranger to reality TV having found fame in Popstars and going into the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2006.
Denise van Outen
Denise announced her DOI sign-up on Loose Women.
She was a contestant on the 2012 series of Strictly Come Dancing, which would give her an edge.
She’s been in a range of other family-friendly reality shows, like Celebrity Gogglebox and The Masked Singer.
Joe Warren-Plant
Joe confirmed the news on This Morning, revealing his new job to Phil and Holly.
He said: “I’m super excited, I can’t even describe it. I’ve got the time off Emmerdale to really focus on training, and you know, try my best and learn some new skills.”
Joe is an actor, and plays Jacob Gallagher on Emmerdale.
Faye Brookes
Faye Brookes announced that she would be joining the DOI 2021 line-up on Lorraine.
She said: “This is the first time people are going to see me not being a character, not hiding behind anything, just Faye.”
The actress is known for her role as Kate Connor on Corrie, but quit the soap last year.
Jason Donovan
Jason told Holly and Phil on This Morning that he is excited to compete on Dancing on Ice.
Jason said he was excited to try his hand at figure skating and his daughter is looking forward to seeing him on the show.
The former Neighbours star joked: “I’m 52, I’m looking pretty good, but injury is always a possibility.”
Rebekah Vardy
Rebekah Vardy took to Good Morning Britain to announce the news of the Dancing on Ice bid.
Rebekah said: “My dad taught me how to stand up in a pair of skates when I was about seven-years-old.
“I’m really excited actually. The only time I’ve been ice skating since is when I take the kids to the ice rink at Christmas.”
Sonny Jay
The Celeb Report has exclusively revealed that Capital FM presenter Sonny Jay has signed up for Dancing On Ice.
And Sonny confirmed the news on Capital Radio’s Breakfast show.
He proudly told Capital co-hosts Roman Kemp and Sian Welby: “I’m gonna be doing…Dancing on Ice!”
Roman buzzed: “I’m so happy for you, mate!”
Already raring to hit the ice, Sonny said: “I’ve even got a pair of skates with me in the studio!”
Who has dropped out?
Wayne Bridge
Ex-Chelsea star Wayne Bridge pulled out of Dancing on Ice at the eleventh hour.
The Celeb Report revealed the former pro, 40, was joining the 2021 series after impressing ITV bosses with his TikTok moves during lockdown.
But despite making it through to the final stages of talks Wayne is no longer taking part.
A source said: “Wayne had several meetings with bosses but suddenly he was no longer taking part.
“Dancing On Ice audition a lot of stars – sometimes people don’t get through if they’re not very good skaters but Wayne was really impressive – he was expected to sign the contract and then disappeared from the lineup, it’s all a bit of a mystery!”

Rufus Hound
The Celeb Report has exclusively revealed Dancing On Ice have signed up comedian Rufus Hound – but like Sonny, he is yet to announce the news himself.
Rufus, 41, is a comedian and actor who has starred in an array of stage productions including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Boy In The Dress and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
He has also been a regular panellist on Nevermind the Buzzcocks and Celebrity Juice.
Luke Trotman
Luke Trotman surged in public interest due to his appearance on the winter edition of Love Island.
He came second with girlfriend Siannise Fudge, and they now live in London together.
If he made the lineup it’s safe to say he’d be comfortable in front of the camera in tight costumes.
Sally Dynevor
Sally Dynevor is an actress with a long-serving career in Coronation Street.
She was reported to be at the auditions for the show.
Other Corrie stars have appeared on Dancing on Ice in previous series.
Mark ‘Bez’ Berry
The performer was also spotted at the Dancing On Ice auditions.
Like Denise, he too appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox.
He is a dancer and is best known for being in the rock band Happy Mondays.
Denise Lewis
Denise Lewis is a prominent figure in the sports world, having been an Olympian and sports presenter.
She is known for her skill at the heptathlon which won her gold at the 2020 Sydney Olympics.
She’s now retired and focused on presenting.
Dr Alex George
Like Luke Trotman, Dr Alex George also found fame through Love Island.
He is a doctor who has been working on the front line during the pandemic, primarily in a hospital in Lewisham.
It’s unlikely both Luke and Dr George will feature in the same series.
Baga Chipz
Baga Chipz appeared on our screens in Celebrity MasterChef.
Baga is a drag queen who found fame through being a constant on the first UK series of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
So Baga would be very comfortable on another contestant show.
Billie Faiers
Billie is known for being on reality show The Only Way Is Essex.
Other Towie stars like Gemma Collins have appeared on the show before.
In 2014 she went into the Big Brother house.

John Barrowman was the latest addition to the judging panel, having joined in 2020.
It’s not expected this line-up will change.
John recently said he believed the show could work without an audience on Lorraine.
When will Dancing On Ice air on TV?
Dancing On Ice normally begins each January.
As of now, it’s still to be scheduled for the beginning of 2021.
However, if the situation with coronavirus changes this may be affected.
Who won Dancing On Ice in 2020?
Joe Swash took home the title in 2020 with his dance partner Alex Murphy.
The final was watched by 4.6 million viewers.
Some viewers felt that Perri Kiely was a more worthy winner.
