But this year’s names have come under more scruitiny than ever as they step up their training on the Ice.

A new report has ranked this year’s crop of stars on Dancing on Ice, according to their money-making power.
The likes of former Love Island star Ekin-Su, Towie favourite Joey Essex and former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer had their Instagram earning’s studied.
Due to her huge popularity, ITV2 winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is at the very top of the list.
She has a potential Instagram earning of over £88,000 as 3.21 million followers keep up to date with all her latest posts and stories on Instagram.
Coming closely behind is Joey Essex, 32, who has a potential earning of just over half of the former Love Island winner at £49,400.
He rose to prominence on the long-standing reality show, The Only Way is Essex and his following sits at over 1.8 million on Instagram.
In third place is The Vivienne, who has a potential earning of £15,000, less than a third of the former Towie star.
The star has over 575,000 followers on Instagram after winning the innaugral series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
Patsy Palmer has over 370,000 followers on Instagram alone and stands at number 5 on the list.
The former EastEnders actress’s potential earnings standing at just under £10,000.
Towards the bottom of the list is Hollyoaks actress Carley Stenson, comedian Darren Harriott and former professional footballer John Fashanu.
Carley has a potential earning of only £1,700 even though she has a following over over 61,000 people.
Darren Harriott’s potential earnings stand at only £386 whilst TV presenter John’s potential stands at £140.
Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo noted:
“With Ekin-Su and Joey Essex already earning thousands from their Instagram posts, it will be interesting to see how Dancing on Ice affects these celebrities’ Instagram earnings, as they’re sure to gain more followers after appearing on the show.”
This comes after online bookmakers BetVictor have already priced up the odds on who’s backed to win following a series of intense training sessions.
They claim gymnast Nile Wilson, 26, will take the title following Regan Gascoigne’s triumph last year.
He is currently leading the pack in terms of odds, coming in at 3/1.
