Dancing On Ice in fix row as furious fans fume all three finalists ‘have dance experience’

DANCING On Ice is facing another fix row as fans have fumed that all three finalists have previous “dance experience”.

Last night, it was announced that Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt, Strictly’s Brendan Cole and dancer Regan Gascoigne would go through to the final show this weekend.

Fans fumed that the finalists all had dance experience, including Strictly’s Brendan

Regan was professionally trained at a performing arts school

After a tense round of skating on Saturday night, Kye Whyte and Connor Ball were sent home in the tense double eviction.

It saw the remaining three stars put through to the final – but fans were left furious by the line-up for the show, due to air live later this month.

Many took to Twitter to fume that the final three all had previous dance experience and training as they dubbed it “a fix”.

While singer Kimberly, 40, is part of a dance duo – and trained in various forms of dance, Brendan, 45, is a professional ballroom dancer.

The Latin American champion has also danced previously as a pro on Strictly Come Dancing, and judged Dancing With The Stars.

Meanwhile, Regan, 26, has been trained as a professional dancer, having attended a performing arts school.

“Surely three pro dancers in the final stinks of a fix,” one fan hit out, as a second agreed: “Genuinely beginning to think this is a bit of a fix.”

“There’s a shock, all pro trained dancers in the final,” a third said, as a fourth chimed in: “Again the pro dancers going through – a fix.”

“You can count on me not watching the fix of a final which will include three professional dancers,” a fifth person concluded.

It comes as viewers complained that Brendan Cole seemed to have been given an advantage after he opened the show for a second time.

“Brendan dancing first again? give me a break,” tweeted one angry fan.

Many fumed on Twitter after fans claimed last week that the ballroom dancer had been given an advantage in the ITV series by being the first celeb to take to the ice each week.

Brendan made it through to the final after earning a perfect score from the Dancing On Ice judges for a second week running.

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional secured 40 points for his skate to Let’s Face The Music And Dance from the film Follow The Fleet, after ending his routine with a successful headbanger move.

The celebrity contestants performed routines to songs personal to them and also attempted a solo skate.

Brendan will compete in the final in two weeks’ time against former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and Regan Gascoigne.

This week he opened up about “things are getting personal” amid reports of tension rising backstage.

The former Strictly pro, who is partnered with skating professional Vanessa Bauer, is one of the favourites to win this year’s competition.
