DANCING On Ice’s Connor Ball was taken straight to medics to get stitches after his painful skate fall on last night’s show.
The Vamps musician, 25, has been bloodied, bruised and battered during his time skating in the series.
Last night he took a nasty tumble with partner Alexandra Schaumann and her blade sliced his leg.
While he managed to finish the routine with a smile, Connor needed medical treatment and filmed himself getting stitches backstage.
Skating with a mop in his hands during the pirate theme routine, Connor’s prop got tangled in his partner’s skate as he tried to spin her round.
After the routine, host Phillip Schofield said: “We’re gutted for you. Are you OK?”
Connor replied: “I don’t want to look at what’s going on under here.”
Pro skater Alexandra chipped in: “It’s bleeding.”
Connor then said: “The blade went into my leg.”
Judge Ashley Banjo was full of praise for the duo and said: “Anyone who wonders if Dancing On Ice is dangerous, there you go. It was such a good performance.
“This score would have been so much higher but you couldn’t quite hold on to it. Well done.”
Viewers were full of sympathy for the musician, who needed stitches earlier this month after slamming his face off the ice just seconds before a live show was about to begin.
One wrote on Twitter: “Poor Connor’s bleeding again.”
A second posted: “Looked like they were curling behind them lol!! Shame on that fall. Poor Connor is bleeding again.”
After his previous fall Connor clamped a tissue to his face to stop the bleeding.
He explained: “I was a bit stressed about the spin. I kept trying to perfect the spin. I just slipped down and smacked my face.”
Stand-in host Stephen Mulhern, 44, said: “We’ll get it seen to. I know the paramedics are on stand-by. It’s dripping on your shirt. Well done mate.”
Co-host Holly Willoughby, 41, was concerned by the situation and told him: “Keep pressure on it.”
Despite the medical emergency, Connor was kept on the stage until the judges had delivered their comments.
Ashley told him: “Well done bro. Taking that kind of fall and still coming out with blood coming from your face takes guts.
“You looked a bit concerned part way through – now I know why.”
Dancing on Ice returns next Sunday on ITV at 6pm
