The ex Towie star was left bloodied and shocked by the accident

Joey, 32, has signed up to the hit ITV show alongside stars including Michelle Heaton and Siva Kaneswaran.

A source added: “Joey hasn’t even got a partner yet and he is already a liability.”

The popular Essex lad posted photos of his bandaged middle finger on Instagram after the nasty accident.

His palm revealed blood stains and a huge plaster wrapped around his injured digit.

Fans were quick to share their concern for the star, with one writing: “Oooooh hope it’s not too bad! Xx”

Another begged him: “Be safe.”

In a separate video on his Story Joey said he had pushed himself too far in his first training session.

He explained: “I’ve ended up with a metal finger, I’m lucky to still have the finger to be honest.

“You live and learn. If you are ever going to be a dancer on the ice, don’t take risks straight away. Go slow. It’s all about patience.”

Despite having millions in the bank and enough to retire on, Joey told The Celeb Report he loves to work and isn’t planning to jack it all in.
