The star made history at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics after winning Great Britain’s first ever BMX Olympic medal.

But now he’s ready to bring some of his race track prowess to the ice rink.

In an exclusive chat with The Celeb Report, Kye said: “I’m hoping to bring my BMX to the ice – we are trying too.

I’ll have some spikes for the ice ready to go.

He added: “My motivation – is to get myself to the finish line and try and make the final.  It’s just about the experience really.

“I’m competitive, of course! I’m really looking forward to it.”

Who is Kye Whyte?

Born in September 1999, Kye, 22, began riding BMX when he was just three.

Riding runs in the family, with his father Nigel and manager CK, co-founders of the famous Peckham BMX Club.

It was from here that Whyte got his “Prince of Peckham” nickname and began his ascent from the streets of South London to the Tokyo Olympics.

Along with his brother Tre, the pair joined the Great Britain Cycling Team in 2017.
