Ria was paired with Łukasz in the show earlier this year

Ria, who was paired with Łukasz Różycki, was the second star to be eliminated from the competition.

Over the years viewers have seen many nasty falls play out on their screens, but Ria was “very lucky” that she didn’t suffer with any during training.

However it did happen once – moments before they were due to dance live on air.

Recalling the accident in an exclusive chat with The Celeb Report, Ria said: “Lukasz dropped me seconds before we went and performed to the nation in front of millions of people when we were training backstage!

“It was a bit of a worry because he had never dropped me before. I was like why is this happening now! He was like ‘it’s ok it’s adrenaline!’

“He out some special spray on his hand to give him a stronger grip, naturally when you sweat, your hands sweat.

“I was like ‘at least we didn’t do that on telly!’

“Out we went and we did it!”

Ria trained for three hours every day for FOUR months before the show premiered in January 2022.

She explained: “So you get super fit. It’s super fun!

“Good luck to everyone who is having a go this year.”

The Dancing on Ice 2023 line-up has already been revealed, with the likes of Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Towie‘s Joey Essex and EastEnders‘ Patsy Palmer taking part.

Ria has shared what advice she has for the celebrities braving the ice next year.

The TV star said: “My tips are to squeeze the pips out of the opportunity, really put the hours in with the staring so you’ll feel safe on the ice… and have fun!

“It’s the most magical ride, I had an amazing time, learnt a completely new skill, taught by Olympic champions and got dressed up every weekend so I had so much fun!”

Ria attended the Disney100 Debut event in London last week to kick off Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder celebrations.

A series of upcoming fan experiences to mark its 100 Years of Wonder were announced on the night, including a European concert tour, immersive Wonder of Friendship exhibition, as well as a range of new products.
