SKATING legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean WILL perform together on Dancing on Ice this series.
Despite fears social distancing rules would prevent the duo touching, it’s been revealed they secretly pre-recording dances in a bubble before Christmas.
Christopher, 62, said: “For us, it’s so surreal that I can’t touch Jayne and dance with her or skate with her.
“But we have pre-recorded two or three numbers that will be going into the show.”
Jayne, 63, added: “When we did our pre-records before Christmas we went to our separate houses to spend Christmas so I haven’t actually met up with Chris in person.
“That will be strange on Sunday realising that I can’t give him a hug, I’ll have to keep remembering.”
The Celeb Report revealed this year’s stars have been banned from being touched – despite struggling to learn dangerous lifts.
Coronavirus social-distancing rules have put a stop to celebrities being given a helping hand by professionals in training.
It means the 2021 contestants are arguably facing the most challenging series in the show’s history.
In past years, Olympic legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have given hands on help to celebrities on the ice.
But strict rules following Government guidelines on the show makes it impossible this series.
Now stars will have only their professional skating partner to rely on to tackle risky moves like headbangers.
