Danielle Harold's Bunny Love

Danielle Harold, former EastEnders actress and current I'm A Celebrity contestant, made headlines when she turned down a plate of hare cooked by First Dates star Fred Sirieix. Now, Danielle's mum, Lisa Marie Carter, has revealed the heartwarming reason behind her daughter's decision.

Lisa Marie explained that Danielle has a pet bunny named Sonny, whom she adores like a baby. "Absolutely no way she would be eating that hare," Lisa Marie said. "The rest of the stuff she would have a go, but not the hare. It's like her little baby, so she just wouldn't eat that."

Danielle's step dad, David Murray, and friend, Avinash Goury, joined Lisa Marie in Australia to support her during her time in the jungle.

Proud Mom

Lisa Marie couldn't contain her pride as she talked about her daughter's performance on the show. "Danielle's been doing really, really well," she said. "I knew she would be determined. She's a really caring person, and I'm really proud of her."

Despite feeling anxious at first, Danielle has impressed her mom with her bravery and dedication. "I am a bit surprised at how much she has thrown herself into it," Lisa Marie admitted. "She was anxious going in, but now she looks happy and is enjoying herself."

And it seems Danielle's adventures in the jungle have even inspired her mom. "I'm not good at heights, but she's inspired me to jump on a plane and get out here," Lisa Marie said.

Fears and Triumphs

According to Danielle's step dad, bugs are her biggest fear. "Anything with bugs in she's terrified," David Murray said. "You can see her jumping around like a jack in a box – me and her younger brother are loving watching that."

But despite her fears, Danielle has faced them head-on. In a recent trial, she bravely replaced former campmate Grace Dent and took on a nail-biting aerial challenge. And in the Pole Position challenge, Danielle conquered her fear of heights by climbing a 100m high building and descending down a ladder.

Secret Signals?

There have been speculations that Danielle has been using secret signals to communicate with her loved ones. Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold noted that Danielle frequently touches her hat, which has sparked rumors that she's sending messages to her friends and family back home.

Whether it's facing her fears, standing up for her beliefs, or finding ways to stay connected, Danielle Harold is proving to be a strong and resilient contestant on this season of I'm A Celebrity.
