It's a stellar line-up for this year's Celeb Bake Off
He was branded rude by Rose, sat to his left, in a video she posted on Twitter

A Bake Off star on the show with him has called out David for a comment he made as he walked past her.
Rose Matafeo posted a video calling him ‘rude’ and shared a clip where he dissed her baking.

He walked past her while she was cooking, and said: “Hey, good job.”

He then gestured and shook his head as he walked off.

Fans flocked to comment on their interaction as Rose, a Starstruck comedy writer, put the finishing touches to her tart.

One said: “Guess it wasn’t your day, your week, your month or even your year.”

Another chimed in, referring to his hilarious scenes in Friends: “Did he throw your sandwich away?!”

A third chortled: “Yes but he made you pivot.”

It’s not the first time the Hollywood great had left his co-stars stunned.

Prue Leith has revealed Friends actor David Schwimmer ‘didn’t want to talk to anyone’ while filming the celebrity edition of the Channel 4 show.

Prue told the Mirror: “Well, he must have been the most famous person we had in the tent. And I was very excited about it.

“What I was surprised about, though, was I thought he’d behave like he behaved as Ross, he’d be like he was in Friends, but he was actually very concentrated and didn’t want to talk to anybody.

“He just wanted to get on baking and he badly wanted to win. He loosened up after a while.”

David became a global superstar in the 90s alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt Le Blanc in US sitcom Friends.

He has also starred on the big screen as the voice of goofy giraffe Melman in the hit animated franchise Madagascar.

The decision to take part in Bake Off was a personal one following the deaths of his grandmother, and ex-wife Zoe Buckman’s mum, from cancer. His sister is also a cancer survivor.

In the special, David says he is a big fan of the show and wants to have fun in the famous white tent while raising awareness and money for a cancer charity.

Joining him on the special is ex-Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, Loose Women stars Coleen Nolan and Judi Love as well as Towie legend Gemma Collins.
