However he’ll be making one final appearance on the popular variety show this December.

David has confirmed he’ll star in the programme’s spin off series Britain’s Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician.

It will see magicians from global Got Talent shows compete to be crowned the ultimate magician.

Walliams will judge the acts alongside Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and guest judge and magician Penn Jillette.

Hosted by Stephen Mulhern, it will broadcast on Sunday 18th December at 8pm on ITV1.

It’s understood the series was recorded prior to David’s comments about BGT contestants being unearthed.

He called one a “c***” three times and mocked another during breaks in filming.

David said in a statement earlier last month: “I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020.

“These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry.”

David was recently left out from a thanksgiving bash that his fellow judges attended.

He was noticeably absent as the trio posed for pictures.

Simon’s fiancée Lauren Silverman was also snapped at the meal alongside Amanda and Alesha.
