DAYS of Our Lives actress Judi Evans has revealed that one of her soap co-stars once accidentally punched her and “knocked [her] out cold” while filming.
The 57-year-old has shared a behind-the-scenes story from her time on Another World and dished on the on-set incident that left her fellow cast member “crying” with concern.
Judi has starred on a few different soap operas over the last 40 years, but there’s one moment that will always stand out to her.
While filming for Another World, she shared in a #FunFactFriday post on Instagram recently that she was once accidentally hit in a scene that left her unconscious for a few moments.
The actress got her start as Beth Raines on Guiding Light from 1983 to 1986, before she moved over to Days of Our Lives that same year as Adrienne Johnson.
While she has been on and off DAYS over the last 35 years and currently stars on the soap as Bonnie Lockhart, she’s been doing some reminiscing about her time on Another World.

She worked on the daytime program for almost a decade in the ‘90s, where she starred as Paulina Cory Carlino.
Looking back on one memorable moment from set, she shared a clip from the show and told followers: “#FunFactFriday Who wants some behind the scenes stories?! Here’s one from #AnotherWorld.
“You’ll notice I jump back far when Tom [Eplin, who played Jake McKinnon] approaches Jamie to punch him.
“Well, on the first take, Tom accidentally clocked me and knocked me out cold.”
Judi added: “Poor Tom, he felt so bad, I woke up to him crying over me, but it was a total accident!
“The blocking was a little tight on that Brooklyn set.”
“I was ok,” the soap star assured fans, “but I decided to keep my distance the next time around.”
Judi isn’t the only one doing some soap opera reminiscing lately.
DAYS fans have been looking back at some of their favorite characters from throughout the years on the show – specifically, Jensen Ackles’ Eric Brady.
The former Supernatural actor starred on the soap opera from 1997 to 2000, and viewers recently gushed over a resurfaced magazine cover of his from around when he left the show.
A Reddit user shared a look at Jensen and co-star Arianne Zucker on the cover of an issue of Soap Opera Digest from July 2000.
The actors were in character, Jensen as Eric and Arianne as Nicole, and posing in a sexy position.
She wore black lingerie and looked up at him, while he held onto her and bent down for a kiss, while wearing an unbuttoned silk pajama top and matching pants.
The copy on the cover read: “Days of Our Lives. Down and Dirty: Nicole & Eric Have Sex!”
One excited fan commented: “I remember loving this Eric!”
Another wrote: “Love Jensen.”
