A NEW season of crime drama Death In Paradise lands on our screens in January 2022.
There’s a brand new addition to the cast and we’ve got some familiar faces returning.
Who is in the cast of Death In Paradise season 11?
Ralf Little as DI Neville Parker
Ralf Little makes his return as Detective Inspector Neville Parker, a character he has played since the ninth season.
Neville originally hated his time on the island but as the seasons went on, he grew to enjoy the island lifestyle of Saint Marie.
Ralf rose to fame through his roles on British sitcoms The Royle Family and Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps.
Outside of acting, Ralf has played football for a few semi-professional teams including Maidstone United and Edgware Town.
Josephine Jobert as Florence Cassell
Josephine originally played Detective Sergeant Florence Cassell from season four to season eight.
Florence left Saint Marie at the end of season eight to move to Martinique but made a swift return in season 10 when a job opened up for her.
Since her return, Neville has started to develop feelings for her.
Death In Paradise was Josephine’s first English-language role.
Being French, she has previously spent a lot of time working on various French TV shows.
Don Warrington as Selwyn Patterson
Don has played Commissioner Selwyn Patterson since the very first season.
Selwyn is Saint Marie’s police commissioner and comes across as a tough shell to crack.
As the seasons have progressed, Selwyn’s demeanour has softened and has become a popular character.
Don has had a long career both on TV and in the theatre.
He was awarded an MBE in the Queens 2008 birthday honours
Elizabeth Bourgine as Catherine Bordey
Elizabeth’s character Catherine Bordey has also been part of the show since its inception.
Catherine first started out as the owner of a bar where the police team would often go but has since had a career path change.
In season six, Catherine ran for Mayor and was elected in the season finale.
Elizabeth is also French and had a long career in French TV shows and TV movies before joining Death In Paradise.
Tahj Miles as Marlon Pryce
Marlon Bryce was brought in at the beginning of season 10, played by Tahj Miles.
Marlon joins the police force in Saint Marie to avoid going to prison for previous bad behaviour.
As the season goes on, he commits to reforming himself and becoming a better person.
Tahj is still breaking out in his career.
Credits to his name include playing Tahj in CBBC show Class Dismissed and Kendrick Manning in an episode of BBC show Small Axe.
Shantol Jackson as Naomi Thomas
Naomi Thomas is a brand new character for season 11.
Played by Shantol Jackson, Naomi is an ambitious young sergeant who has been brought onto the Saint Marie police force.
We’ll see more about her new character when the new season kicks off.
Shantol’s acting credits so far include roles in the 2018 films Sprinter and Yardie.
When is Death In Paradise on the BBC?
Death In Paradise returns to our screens on January 7, 2022.
The first episode of season 11 will air at 9pm on BBC One.
The season will compromise of eight episodes, with the season finale scheduled to air on February 25.
