Death in Paradise Series Finale Delayed Due to BBC Schedule Shake-Up

Series Finale Postponed

Death in Paradise is the latest BBC show to be affected by a major schedule change as the series 14 finale has been delayed. The finale, which was originally set to air on Friday, March 21, has now been pushed back a week to make room for Comic Relief.

Double Delight for Fans

Despite the disappointment of the delay, fans can look forward to a double dose of excitement on March 28. The new series of Beyond Paradise, part of the Death in Paradise universe, will kick off at 8pm, followed by the series 14 finale at 9pm.

Special Crossover

During the Comic Relief telethon, fans will also be treated to a special crossover between Beyond Paradise and Not Going Out. The sketch will feature Sally Bretton playing both her roles - Martha in Beyond Paradise and Lucy in Not Going Out - in a hilarious case of mistaken identity.

Comic Relief Line-Up

Other shows making way for Comic Relief on Friday include The One Show, with the telethon starting at 7pm. The news will return at 10pm, followed by local news at 10:30pm. BBC One will then resume Comic Relief programming before a late-night screening of the film, Beetlejuice, at 11:40pm.
