Ben returned for a cameo appearance in the most recent series of Death in Paradise to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

His character Richard had been killed at the start of series three and he returned in a dream sequence with Camille Bordey.

Ben said: “One of the nicest things about doing that was there were so many people from the very first series.

“We’ve done 10 series now, there are so many people from the very first working on the show – particularly the local crew.

“And they’ve all progressed! It was really interesting to see all the locals are now in charge of various units. It was so fun!”
