Denise Van Outen has revealed her second major career move away from TV presenting by confirming her return to music. The actress and singer, known for presenting The Big Breakfast and starring in musicals like Chicago, shared her exciting new project in an exclusive interview with The Celeb Report's TV Mag.
Return to Music
In the interview, Denise shared, "I’m writing a sitcom – I’ve included some of my friends in it and they’re up for it. We shoot the pilot this summer." She also confirmed her comeback to music after 22 years, mentioning that she'll be DJing at festivals and releasing an album of covers and new songs.
Secrets of the Supermarket Buyers
Aside from her music endeavors, Denise is set to front the Channel 4 show Secrets of the Supermarket Buyers. The show explores how a small group of people influence what millions of Brits buy every day. Secrets of the Supermarket Buyers will air on Channel 4 on Monday, April 14 at 8pm.
Reconciliation and New Ventures
Denise has also been involved in other consumer series and revealed plans for future projects, including helping families cut their bills and appearing on Gogglebox with former co-star Johnny Vaughan. The two have reconciled after years of feuding and are now working together again.
