Controversial Rant
Dick and Angel Strawbridge have no regrets one year after Angel's vicious row with a Channel 4 producer. The TV couple, famous for their show Escape to the Chateau, were dropped from the station last year after a leaked recording exposed Angel's explicit behavior towards the producer.
Return to Television
Despite the fallout, fans of the couple will see them return to television in June with Dick and Angel's Secret France. The series will take viewers beyond their 19th-century mansion to explore a different side of France.
Defending the Rant
Angel stands by her controversial rant, calling the producer a derogatory term. On their podcast, Dick and Angel defended their actions, with Angel stating, "He was an a**e! And I guess I wish I'd just done it a little bit earlier."
Future Prospects
Although Channel 4 announced they would not work with the couple on new productions in the future, Dick and Angel's Secret France is set to air on Sunday 2nd June at 8pm on Channel 4, marking their final outing with the network.
