DISNEY+has ramped up its Star Wars and Marvel TV franchises with 10 new series each.
Fans will be celebrating after the world’s biggest film and TV content producer has announced impressive new production plans.
Film buffs will be in their element after Disney+ has announced plans to ramp up its content.
The Walt Disney Company announced it will launch around 10 new Marvel series and 10 new Star Wars series over the next few years.
Disney’s Chairman, Media and Entertainment Distribution Kareem Daniel said: “With these Disney+ originals, along with theatrical releases and library titles, we will be adding something new to the service every week.”
In addition, Disney would also launch 15 live-action, animation and Pixar series during the same period.
Disney made the astounding announcement at its annual Investor Day.
The hit films Disney has had big success with on the Disney+ channel include The Mandalorian.
It will soon debut Marvel’s WandaVision which fans are highly anticipating.
Other favourites include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, starring Tom Hiddlestone.
It’s a great end to a successful year for Disney +.
Disney’s chairman of international operations and direct-to-consumer, Rebecca Campbell, revealed it signed up 86.8 million subscribers in its first year.
Meanwhile the new shows will come at a cost – the subscription for Disney+ will increase by 2€ in Europe and and a similar amount around the world.
