DISNEY+ subscribers have decided to “boycott” the streamer after a selection of their favourite shows have been axed – a popular Marvel series is one of them.

As part of its most recent cost-cutting initiative, the streamer will start deleting a handful of short-lived programmes starting on May 26.

A few Marvel series, such as Project Power and Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever will be discontinued

Marvel‘s Project Power and Marvel’s Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever are two of the programmes that will be discontinued.

Hit drama’s such as The Mysterious Benedict Society, Y: The Last Man, Pistol, and Willow will also vanish from the website soon.

Fans will also bid farewell to some of their favourite films, including the Cheaper By The Dozen reboot, and Artemis Fowl.

Subscribers have been left disappointed as the streamer cuts so many of their favourite shows.

Many have resorted to Twitter to vent, and some are even threatening to terminate their Disney+ memberships.

One complained: “Can’t believe this! They’re getting rid of all the best shows. Ridiculous.”

A second added: “This is just annoying! I’m going to unsubscribe.”

A third raged: “How many great shows is Disney going to get rid of?!”

A fourth fumed: “Do I need to unsubscribe? Between this and cancelling Owl House, you are failing at the one thing you should be good at!”

A fifth wrote: “How can they cancel Mysterious Benedict Society?!

Responding to the complaints, Disney+’s official helpline account wrote: “We’re always working toward making your streaming experience the best it can be, and as this work is done some titles are impacted by removal from our platform. We apologize for the disappointment this may cause.”
