What will be released on Disney+ in June 2021?
Loki (season 1)
Loki features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.
Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer.
The Full Monty (1997)
After losing his job at a steel factory, Gaz learns that his wife wants to sue him for missed child support payments.
Desperate for money, Gaz and his friend Dave decide to create their own male strip-tease act.
The two friends recruit four more men, including their former foreman and a security guard.
The group promises that their show will succeed because they are willing to go “the Full Monty”: completely naked.
Coyote Ugly (2000)
Graced with a velvet voice, 21-year-old Violet Sanford heads to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a songwriter only to find her aspirations sidelined by the accolades and notoriety she receives at her “day” job as a barmaid at Coyote Ugly.
The “Coyotes” as they are affectionately called tantalize customers and the media alike with their outrageous antics, making Coyote Ugly the watering hole for guys on the prowl.
Calendar Girls (2003)
After the death of her best friend’s husband from cancer, spirited Yorkshire housewife Chris Harper hatches a scheme to raise money for a memorial to him.
Utilising a tradition from the hidebound Woman’s Institute association, Chris encourages Annie and their friends to create a calendar — with the novel detail of using the middle-aged women of their village as nude models.
The idea stuns the husbands and a wary young photographer.
