A sweet proposal
DIY SOS star Nick Knowles' fiancée, Katie Dadzie, has been seen wearing a stunning £50,000 diamond engagement ring. However, Nick's proposal was initially with a Haribo sweet ring. Last month, Nick proposed to Katie at a restaurant in the US using the gummy candy while filming. This will be Nick's third marriage.
A real treat
After the playful proposal, Nick wanted to give Katie something special and splurged on a beautiful diamond engagement ring. A source said, "Nick and Katie have been on cloud nine since he proposed. The Haribo ring was a bit of fun - but Nick, of course, wanted to give her a real treat."
Continuing his globetrotting
Nick will continue his globetrotting adventures for Channel 5 in a new series that has recently started production. The show, called "Nick Knowles: Into...", will take him to various destinations around the world. Earlier this year, he hosted a two-part travel special for Channel Five on the Grand Canyon.
Parting for work
Unfortunately, it appears that Katie will not be joining Nick on his travels, meaning the couple could be apart for some time. A source revealed, "Sadly, it doesn't appear Katie will be joining him, which means they could be apart for some time."
