Duggar fans praise Jinger for wearing Jordan sneakers and having a new ‘style’ despite family’s strict dress code

DUGGER fans praised Jinger for wearing Jordan sneakers and having a new “style” after she posted a photo with husband Jeremy Vuolo.

Fans were shocked to see the star sporting pants and sneakers, going against her family’s strict wardrobe rules.

“We escaped!” Jinger captioned the pic of the couple surrounding a towering block structure spelling out the words “Escape Room.”

In another photo, the 19 Kids and Counting alum posed with their other teammates to commemorate the victory.

Fans immediately took notice of the reality star’s look, sporting pants and Jordan sneakers instead of the traditional floor length skirts she had typically worn.

The 27-year-old has been regularly wearing clothes that go against her parents’ conservative sartorial choices and appears to be letting her kids choose their own way, too.

Former soccer player Jeremy shared a cute snap of him and his eldest crossing the road in coordinating outfits with his almost 700k Instagram followers.

Taken from behind to protect his daughter’s privacy, little Felicity looked adorable with a red bow in her hair, a white T-shirt, and denim pants.

Jeremy captioned the shot: “God gives good gifts.”

While many of his fans flocked to gush over how adorable the photo was, one pointed out how great it was to see Felicity wearing pants.

Jinger is no stranger to making her own fashion choices, despite her family’s strict and conservative views on the matter.

The Counting On  star recently opened up about “struggling” with her parents – Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar – over her decision to go against their wardrobe rules, including wearing pants.

In her new book The Hope We Hold: Finding Peace in the Promises of God with husband Jeremy, she reflected on why she started defying her parents strict codes.

Jinger and Jeremy married in 2016 after a three month engagement and a short courtship

The mom of two wrote: “My mom had always dressed us girls in skirts and dresses, a standard that was taken from Deuteronomy 22:5, which says, ‘A woman shall not wear a man’s garment,’ (ESV) and I never really questioned it.”

She continued: “Modesty was a huge topic in our house, and we believed that wearing skirts instead of pants was a central part of being modest. But I wanted to discover for myself what the Bible had to say.”

Jinger, 27, and Jeremy, 33, have two children – Felicity, two, and baby Evangeline, six months.
