DUGGAR fans were “weirded out” as a resurfaced 19 Kids & Counting clip revealed that Jim Bob and Michelle were considering the names Jimelle or Jichelle for their eighteenth baby.
Michelle, 55, and Jim Bob, 56, had asked their kids to vote and pick the baby’s name.
A snapshot from the TLC show found its way onto Reddit.
The First Names on the Baby Name Ballot included: Jamie, Joneal, Janelle, Janice, Jubilee/Jubileigh, January, Joelle, Jentle, Jemelle, Jichelle, Jimelle, Joelle, and Jacee.
The Middle Names category listed: Grace, Hope, Charity, Madison, Paris, Brook/Brooke, Brooklyn, Makiya, and Emma.
Jimelle and Jichelle were a rhyming combination of Jim and Michelle.
The caption of the snap stated: “We let everybody get involved in the input.”
The reality star parents ended up naming their eighth daughter Jordyn-Grace.
THE COMMENTS
Redditors ended up poking fun at the Baby Ballot Names when they saw the snapshot.
One Redditor said: “I remember this episode. I think they had each kid, even the little kids, pick a name. It was pretty lighthearted and I think they put all of them in.”
Another Redditor wrote: “This makes me feel better that it wasn’t the parents who gave the names to choose from.”
A third Redditor added: “At this point, I kinda wished they used it. Just incredible really.”
A fourth person added: “Jichelle is bad. January is bad. I could EVEN give them Jimelle if it was Jamel and for a boy.”
A commentator pointed out: “It always freaks me out when that list gets shared because my first name is on the first name list. I coulda been a Duggar!”
UNUSED TRAILER
This is not the first time that footage from 19 Kids & Counting has resurfaced online.
Recently, a trailer for an unaired season made its way on Reddit.
The trailer featured glimpses of the Duggar family life that many fans missed out on.
In the clip, Jessa Duggar, 29, is pregnant with with her first child, while Josh’s wife, Anna, is expecting her fourth.
Anna said in the trailer: “It can be a challenge keeping up with three kids and I know we’re about to add a fourth one, so it’s just like, ‘Oh boy!”
In the unused footage, Joseph Duggar, 26, was heading off to college and Josiah Duggar, 25, had a potential love connection.
‘GOING SHOPPING’
Jana, 31, shared a group photo, which included her mother, on Instagram.
The snapshot also included Jana’s siblings Josie, 12, Jordyn-Grace, now 13, Johannah, 16, and Jennifer, 14.
On one side, Michelle was sitting with Josie and Jordyn-Grace.
They appeared to be almost done with their plates when the photo was taken.
Michelle seemed to be enjoying herself as she smiled for the camera.
Jana captioned the post: “Lunch and shopping with Mom and some of the girls today!” along with a shopping bag emoji.
It is unclear if Michelle had gone shopping with Jana – who was trying on glasses in another snap – and her sisters or if she was only there for lunch.
