Scott and Abi are the latest Islanders to be dumped from the villa
But despite walking away single, footballer Scott Van Der Sluis could see a reunion on the cards with former flame and co-star Catherine.
Catherine, 22, and her villa love interest Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, 22, were dumped from the show two weeks ago.
Before meeting Elom, Catherine and Scott had fired up a romance and the beauty has hinted at a reunion.
It was during an Instagram Q&A that Catherine was asked if she’d like to see Scott again.
The reality star replied: “Of course there will be a reunion – a catch up is needed!”
Catherine also opened up on her romance with Elom outside of the villa, saying: “It’s crazy how busy you get, life just gets in the way, meeting friends and family, doing catch ups. We haven’t seen that much of each other.
“We’ve just been back over a week so it has been hard.”
Abi and Scott had landed in the bottom three couples tonight, alongside Molly Marsh and Zach Noble, and Ella Barnes and Mitch Taylor.
Then, as they gathered around the fire pit, their fellow islanders were told to pick who to send home.
Abi and Scott were the couple chosen to pack their bags and leave – but they didn’t go without a scene.
Earlier in the episode, Scott and Mitch shared crossed words over Abi.
Abi was then ‘friend-zoned’ by footballer Scott, who told the boys it was a ‘weight off his shoulders’ to quash any romance between them.
But despite initially feeling miffed by Scott’s decision to end things, Abi clearly mulled things over and let her feelings known as she left.
Before walking out the door, 25-year-old Abi grimaced as she appeared to confirm she won’t be meeting up with Mitch again.
She told him: “See you… maybe… soon.”
Then once outside, Abi stood proud next to Scott and told the cameras: “I wasn’t meant to find love in the villa – it was just setting me up for something even better on the outside.”
And taking aim at Scott, she added: “We’re friends and are going to end this experience as that.
“I feel a bit disheartened and let down that there wasn’t a connection, I feel like he didn’t put enough effort into making one there. I trusted him by his words, not his actions.”
